Hello skiers and snowboarders: Snow is falling again in the Cascades. The snowpack got beat up with the warm atmospheric river but the snow pack didn’t disappear. We lost a little, but now snow is piling up again. Snow recovery is in progress. The atmospheric river is gone. We are back to typical winter storms, with mountain snow. The snow levels have dropped. This year high pressure is keeping us dry, while blocking storms. There is snow in the mountains, but generally not enough. Whistler is open as of Thursday (Nov 23). Short Term Forecast - Snow for late Saturday and Sunday. Later this Saturday and into Sunday an area of low pressure and cold front will swing into the Washington Cascades and bring some welcome snowfall.
