Hello Skiers,
Expect spring skiing in the sunshine for this upcoming weekend. Get out and enjoy as it will be the final weekend of the season for many ski areas. Coverage remains good, but there are some thin spots.
High pressure will build in over the upcoming weekend (April 20th & 21). That weather pattern will mean partly to mostly sunny skies with fabulous spring skiing for the Pacific NW. Many ski areas will close after this weekend. Check websites for details.
Next week I'll send out the final powder alert with a recap of this season, some thoughts on next year and a tally of the few NW ski areas who will remain open late this season.
In the meantime, make some turns in the sun this weekend. And don't forget the sunscreen.
