  • TUESDAY: 1 to 3 inches, higher in the convergence zone
  • WEDNESDAY: Sun breaks at times with a few isolated showers
  • THURSDAY: Snow for mid to upper slopes
Make sure you always check for road conditions:
Hello Skiers & Boarders,

A cold air mass, and low snow levels, will be in place for the early part of the week. This will bring us powder to enjoy on Monday and Tuesday. Snow levels will remain at 1000 feet and lower at times for this period.

For Monday and Tuesday, most locations will get light snowfall. However, a Puget Sound Convergence will be set at times for those days, bringing enhanced snowfall for certain areas. This is reflected in the map below, which is the total snowfall for the period ending Tuesday at 5 pm. Red colors are 10 inches of snow (purple colors close to 8 inches).

This map is for an area near Snoqualmie Pass and to the south of it towards Crystal Mountain Resort. Wednesday brings just a few isolated showers with sun breaks more likely.

Thursday: warming temperatures with snow for mid to upper slopes.

Extended Outlook
We start to have a warming trend, especially from Sunday, April 9 to next Monday, April 10. Although this is in the extended forecast cycle, most models agree. This is showing highs in the low 60s for Stampede Pass (at 4000 feet.)

Enjoy your spring days!
