Hello skiers

There is a good shot of snowfall coming with very cold temperatures ahead.

Expect increasing snow on Friday by mid morning with 1-3 before the end of the ski day. There will be another 2-6 by Saturday morning with the snow level falling to 500 ft., so expect quality snow on the slopes. The heaviest snow will be at Crystal and White, while Mission Ridge will possibly receive significant snowfall (5-10) with an easterly return upslope flow of air favoring the east slopes of the Cascades.

Saturday will see areas of Cascade snowfall and some clearing with very cold weather (modified arctic air) moving in from the north, with windy conditions.

Sunday will be very cold in the morning (teens / single digits) with partly sunny skies, then a chance of snow in the afternoon.

Next week will see little if any new snowfall, while high- pressure blocks storms. The cold will moderate so warmer temperatures are ahead. Youll see bluebird sunny skies over most slopes for much of next week.
