Hello Skiers & Boarders,

Thursday a weak area of low pressure clips the north part of Washington to bring the best chances of snow for Mt. Baker. Thursday night and into Friday an area of low pressure moves in to bring snow of up to 4 inches for the West Cascades. Snow levels are close to 3000/3500 feet for the day.

Saturday, we are expecting mostly dry and cool conditions with snow levels at 2000 feet. Later on Sunday, a strong trough of low pressure and an associated cold front will move in. The best chances of snow will be for late afternoon near Mt. Baker, then snow will spread to the rest of the Cascades Sunday night and into Monday.

Extended Outlook!!

For this coming Monday 2-13 to Wednesday 2-15 we are expecting cold conditions as a trough of low pressure (see map below) drops down from the north on Monday to bring snow levels close to 1000 feet. Models are suggesting up to 10 inches of powder snow on Monday.

We will update you this Sunday. It should remain cold through at least Wednesday 2-15.
