Short Term Discussion
A series of weather systems will move on Monday and Tuesday with light snow on Monday at 4000'.
Tuesday, a stronger weather system moves in to bring some moderate snow at 4000/4500'. Wednesday a weak ridge of high pressure builds for some sun and mild afternoon temperatures.
With the snowfall from Tuesday the mid to upper slopes of Crystal Mountain should provide some great turns on Wednesday.
The cumulative snowfall from today through late Tuesday indicates that Mt Baker and Whistler Mountain will be the winners. Totals of 15 to 20" (map below) for the mid and upper slopes.
I would give this a medium confidence in the forecast as the models seem to be jumping around some on the amounts. However, I do have high confidence that we will be getting some spring snow.
