Mid week minor refresh

Hello skiers,

There will be a little rain mixed with snow over the Cascades on Monday from a weak storm brushing mainly the North Cascades. There wont be much snow accumulation and the snow level is modest, rising to the mid and lower slopes.

The skiing wont be bad on Monday, but there may be a minor rain/snow mix for a brief period. If you have a choice Tuesday looks better with a ridge of high pressure moving in providing partly sunny skies.

A weak storm will move is on Wednesday with a Cascade snowfall refresh. Expect the snow level lowering to 2,500 ft with a trace to maybe an inch or two. It will be a minor refresh, but the storm is cold so the refresh may help the surface conditions.

Thursday and Friday will see partly sunny skies with a chance of a little snow, but again not much. Next weekend look like partly sunny skies.

There are no big snowstorms in the forecast for the next week. The conditions should be good with the minor midweek refresh and sunshine at times.

There is plenty of snow on the slopes, but some thin spots down low or in the well - traveled areas may start to show up. Typically, most of the ski areas will consider closing up in mid to late April or early May so keep on skiing.
