Hello skiers and snowboarders,
We expect snow this weekend so get ready to enjoy some early season skiing.
✅🌧️Friday - Dry for the day, chance of precipitation in the evening
🌧️❆Saturday - Rain-snow early in the day, with 4 to 6 inches late in the day and evening for mid to upper slopes. Windy at times
🌨️❆Sunday - 4 to 6 inches of snow for all slopes
🌤️Monday- Dry with some sun breaks
The ridge of high pressure that has been in place for this week will slowly move out of the region later Friday. Friday night and into the weekend a trough of low pressure and associated cold front will move inland. The best chance of snow will be later on Saturday and into Sunday.
Mid and upper slopes are expecting cumulative snowfall for Saturday and Sunday of 8 to 12 inches. With this pattern, Sunday should be a good day to ski especially later in the morning and into the afternoon.
The map shows the snowfall for the 24-hour period ending late Sunday afternoon. Stevens Pass should receive close to 6 to 8 inches and Snoqualmie Pass close to 4 inches. Crystal Mountain should get 6 to 8 inches and Mt. Baker higher amounts.
Saturday and early Sunday, the inland areas of 49 Degrees North and Silver Mountain Resort should get 4 to 5 inches.
EXTENDED
🌨️Tuesday and Wednesday - slight chances of some light snow showers. The best chance for new snowfall will be next Thursday, December 12. We will update you this Sunday, December 8.
🌤️For those that can go on Monday, you will enjoy sun breaks along with the new weekend snowfall. Scroll down to see map detail.
