There is fun ahead. The weekend looks very good with fresh snow and low snow levels both Saturday and Sunday.
First, there will be a break in the recent snowfall on Friday with mild weather and little if any new snow falling during the day. The snow level will be 4,000 feet and windy at times.
A cold front will move in Friday night into Saturday morning with respectable new snow by morning (5-10). The snow level will lower to 2,500ft, providing good quality. Saturday has good potential for a fabulous powder day. There will be snow showers during the day providing refills.
Early on Sunday, a new snowstorm moves in with continuing low snow levels (2,500 ft) and 4-9 of new snow. There will be more snow showers throughout the day. Youll enjoy another great ski day. I think both weekend days will be very good, so pick either one or both!
Next week expect more snowfall early in the week and again late in the week.
