Hello skiers,

Enjoy the spring skiing the next couple of days, then the powder fun begins. There is a very respectable powder day coming in partially for Sunday, but full on for Monday (my pick:The Day).

Expect spring skiing for Friday and Saturday with high pressure moving in to block storms. There will be a mix of clouds and sun for both Friday and Saturday.

Sunday the clouds will thicken and expect snow to start falling by mid-morning as a cold front, plows into the NW. Youll be skiing in snow much of the day with the snow level about 4,000. Yes, a bit sticky on the lower slopes for Sunday, but the best is for Monday.

The snow will continue into Monday morning with a plunging snow level of 1,000 ft, for greatly improved snow quality. Total snowfall from Sunday noon to Monday morning will be 6-12. A quality powder day for Monday, but expect winter cold and wind at the ridges. Get there early. If the sun gets on it, the pow will be baked in short order. Also, favor shaded north slopes for best results. There will be clearing later Monday with more sunshine and back to spring skiing Tuesday and Wednesday.
