Hello Skiers & Boarders,

We can expect dry conditions today for the daytime. Then during the evening and into Friday morning we can expect snow!

Snow levels Thursday night starting at 3500 to 4000 feet and then lower during the day on Friday to 3000 early to 2000 by the afternoon. Total snow from Thursday night through Friday?

Expect 3 to 5 inches; however, several models show up to 8 inches for Stevens Pass to Snoqualmie Pass.

Saturday perhaps some light snow showers with snow levels at 1000 feet. With colder air moving in we will start to have some strong east winds later Saturday and Sunday. Sunday and Monday we are expecting mostly sunny and cold.

The graph below shows temperatures at 4000 feet at Stampede Pass which is just east of Snoqualmie Pass. Sunday's high 21F low 3F and Monday's high 22 with a low of -1. With an air temperature of 20 and winds at 20 mph, the wind chill is -15F. Bundle up and enjoy the sun and fluffy snow.

You should get plenty of sun this Sunday and Monday. The other photos below are from this past Sunday and a photo by Scott Harder enjoying the Mt. Catherine Loop at Snoqualmie Pass. The second photo is Michael and his friend cross-country skiing and taking a lunch break at Gold Creek Basin yesterday with a view of Alaska Mountain.
