Hello Skiers & Boarders,

We can expect great powder days on Friday and Saturday! During the day today, we'll have light snow showers with perhaps some rain mixed in early. Later in the day, snow levels fall, so snow for late today and into the evening. Then snow off and on for Friday.

By Saturday morning (see first map below) we are expecting 10+ inches (red colors) of cumulative snowfall in many areas. The best part is snow levels will be close to 1000 feet and perhaps lower at times on Friday and Saturday. The cold pattern continues on Sunday and Monday, with snow levels at 1000 to 2000 feet.

The second map is for Whistler Village. By Saturday morning, the map indicates cumulative snow totals of 10 to 12 inches of powder with temperatures remaining below freezing.

Extended Outlook
For Monday to Wednesday, the main part of the storm track and associated snowfall is to our south. With this pattern, we are expecting dry conditions with some sun breaks over this period.

Be safe and have fun out there!
