Hi Skiers,

More new snow is coming this weekend, after a terrific week of powder and groomers with plenty of sunshine. .

Friday will have sunshine early with increasing clouds by afternoon. Groomers will be so fine in the morning sun. Friday night into Saturday morning a modest storm will move in with 2-5 of new and a snow level of 1,500ft. That means moderate quantity, with good quality. A great refresh.

There will be additional snow much of the day on Saturday (2-4), with respectable refills. A mid day Saturday convergence zone could form and may favor Stevens and the Summit, then slide south toward Crystal and White late in the day. That will mean an additional shot of snowfall for all. Meanwhile, Bakers northern location will focus abundant snowfall earlier in this storm cycle.

Sunday may see a little lingering snowfall in the morning, with wonderful powder leftovers from late Saturday. Expect exceptional groomers. Plus, at no extra charge, there is a chance for sunshine too. I really like Sundays potential to just be a fun day with the new snow from Saturday and partial clearing.

Monday and Tuesday will see another new snowstorm move in with light to modest snowfall (3-7), as winter continues in the Cascades with additional snow possible later in the week.

Have fun and rip a few turns
