The first snow of the season will fall in the Cascades over the weekend. It wont be a lot maybe 2-5, but the first dusting always looks so good and provides a nice dose of early season stoke.

The snow level will be about 4500-5000,. That means snow on the mid and upper slopes. Its a start, but this light snowfall amount can be wiped out by some warm rains pretty easily. Its still tad early in the season, for serious accumulation but we are close. Snow accumulating in upper elevation shady spots and gullies will remain.

This series of storms will occur from Friday through early next week. Then we will see some drier weather.
